Ya im gonna head down there sometime this week or next, might pick up a trigger finger also, hehe.

They don't have X-Session Pros for sale yet though :( I asked the guy, they only received a demo unit, which doesn't work apparently. Also, just to confirm things, it doesn't have a headphone jack.

what do you mean bootleggish? but yea ive come across that aswell anyone have experience with that one?
Danila
^^ I looked at it awhile ago.

I think its around $400 correct? There is a video somewhere online with a guy using it.

I found it on traktor forums and heard good things about it.
The jog wheels can be used for scratching and stuff.
stan229
bootleggish as in company isn't existant, no direct price, and no shipping to USA yet. Kinda looks to have the same jog dials and features of the BCD2000.. $400 is kinda hefty though

Not sure if anyone else knows about it, Just saw it on Skratchworx.

Vestax VPC-100

Looks Interesting.
stan229
Very interesting.. looks like it does everyhting the BCD2000 does with Vestax quality and a 4band eq

How much? I want! :)

Vestax by their own admission have steered clear of the purely digital market because they wanted to see where it was going and also because they didn't have the expertise to enter the market successfully. So I was relieved to see that at last they've tackled the tough market and come out with something that should keep the digital DJ happy.

We saw this at PLASA hooked up to Traktor and it worked pretty well. The platters are heavy but pretty responsive. It lacks curve controls but this really isn't designed to be a scratchers deck. But for a club DJ using Traktor, Ableton etc, this makes an ideal console to make it more of a DJs experience than pointing and clicking the mouse to rock a crowd.

The VPC-100 has loops, a comprehensive effects section, cue points, full EQ and pitch control so it's pretty fully featured. BTW that's my picture taken at PLASA hence the high res version.

That Vestax looks ok, but again, I dont get why they dont just put 4 channels on it, like... arg.

Rebel Brown
Yeah, I mean one of the major advantages Ableton has over the other digital alternatives is the fact that you can have an unlimited number of channels for as many loops and samples as you can shake a stick at, so a 2 channel mixer is pretty pointless!
stan229
it would be great for traktor/virtualdj/torq/etc..
