Hey everyone, i just wanted to get some opinions on my newest track... its not finished... some notes right now, the percussion is all dry meaning theres no effects on it yet, im still playing with the bassline, and its missing alot of pads and transition sound effects and such. Just wanted to get some preliminary feedback ;) enjoy.
its the first track called Unnamed.

first thing i would do is position the bass a bit better its too far forward. although you will probably fix this with eq.
im liking the melody, its nothing special but with a better lead synth it could sound so much better. that synth wouldnt make me go 'wow'.
the second breakdown should be taken out and a new element added here. the bass is none existent with that pad but im not going to comment on eqing as you've said it needs to be done.
the track is rather slow to my liking and the bass needs changing or layered would give this track more lift. its a bit improvement on your previous stuff but think you should check your arrangment a little.
good luck finishing it.
cheers! |

The track is ok, I will just go against the bass. I dont know if its my headphone but I heard the bass as a pad going all the way through the song.
The synth is very cool too, agree with previous post.
Nice track. Keep it up m8
