ummm...what youre describing is Montreal...not Toronto :conf: I'm in TO about once a month, and I've driven all over, and your roads are GLASS SMOOTH compared to what we have here. Not to mention our construction workers. We had a frigggin OVERPASS collapse a few weeks ago...for the SECOND TIME  Top that!!!

Otherwise, I still hate Toronto :tongue3

oi cheeky! Downtown isn't ghetto!!! My condo is 1 year old and has a hot tub, pool, movie theatre, gym - all 10 blocks away from work, 5 blocks away from sonic, 8 blocks from cz, 1 block from 6 of my friends. Run down streets and buildings are a part of ANY big city - but so are beautiful old buildings, culture and FEELING! Something you don't get in Stepfordesque suburbia :)

you must live in the nice part of downtown :)
I have seen good and bad parts of the city so it doesn't matter.

I actually don't mind TO. I think I have been away for it for too long cuz I don't think I could live in TO again. Although it would be nice to not have to drive that hour back and forth on a regular basis for random parties, wing nights or anything else for that matter :p But the main reason I don't live in the city though is cost. I just couldn't afford to do it on my own. So I stick with driving the hour to get there instead.

unless of course they love alpine sports ;)

personally, i would take a mediocre scene and whistler over a good scene and extreme lack of good snowboarding terrain.

but than again i love snowboarding as much as i love tunes.
