oh and recycling is a joke too, it causes more pollution than it is suppose to save (except aluminum cans). there is another bull episode with that too.

and no I wouldn't buy your bottled water.

Anyone who lives in scotland and buys water is an idiot, unless there's something wrong with the pipes or something.

Because Scottish tap water is fantastic.

Do you buy bottled water? - Yes

If so, why? - Convenience, Taste

Do you ever consider its impact upon the environment?
(ie: transport emisssions, plastic consumption, the
throw away culture which ends up in land fill) - No, but I do try to recycle when possible.

Are you loyal to a brand (i.e. evian/vittal/buxton)? - Pretty much, Poland Spring, Fiji, Evian, Lime Perrier

Is price a factor? - Somewhat

Would promotion highlighting the benefits persuade you
to switch to Belu? - I'll try anything new, but it's got to be up to par tastewise.

On a side note, why would any of you buy Dasani (or any purified water, for that matter)? It doesn't really taste good (better than Pepsi's Aquafina, though) and it's just like getting water through a Brita filter. They just get the water from New York and Florida municipal supplies and process it. The vending machines in our office are through Coke, so they only have Dasani and I've never understood why people would buy it when they can just use the one tap that's filtered in our floor kitchens.

Do you buy bottled water? - No.

It comes almost free from my taps, I would be an idiot if I paid as much for it as I did, say, soft drinks (which I don't drink either).

yes

For convenience purposes of having a bottle I can carry around when I go places.
There is actually no need for me to even buy the product for what is contained ( the water ) due to the fact that where I live is one of the best tap waters in the country. It has even been bottled on more than one occassion for special commemorations.
I also live in an area where plenty of bottled water companies are located. So my purchase is mostly to reuse the bottle.

Do you ever consider its impact upon the environment?
I recycle and while I may be no expert on the subject I feel that recycling takes away any "guilt" from buying disposable goods like plastic bottles etc.

Are you loyal to a brand (i.e. evian/vittal/buxton)?
Yes, Cristaline mostly because of the price and quality of the product.
The way the company is implemented is that they have different water sources throughout the country but they keep a common brand name with the only distinction on the bottle being the water source marking. This makes the product the most affordable on the market wherever you go in the country because logistical transportation costs are kept to a minimum because of short distances.
I also on occasion buy Evian for their smaller bottles of 1 liter.

Is price a factor?
Yes.

The not "for profit" model, as the excess money is redistributed to better causes.

ps: I am located in France which is coincidentially the country that purchases the most bottled water ( from what I have heard ) yet the quality of the tap water here is astounding.

Do you buy bottled water?

-Yup

If so, why?

-Convinience-there really isn't a difference other than taste (which isn't all that noticeable anyways-between tap and bottled in most parts of the country.

-Who the cares? (No)

Are you loyal to a brand (i.e. evian/vittal/buxton)?

-Not really but I try to stay away from excessively ghetto brands

Is price a factor?

-LOL @ the poor

Would promotion highlighting the benefits persuade you
to switch to Belu?

-Welcome to America bitch

Do you buy bottled water?

Yes I do

If so, why?

I like water, and it looks ghey if you walk around with a cola bottle filled with water

Do you ever consider its impact upon the environment?
(ie: transport emisssions, plastic consumption, the

In norway, we have to pay 1 kroner extra, that we get back, for all bottles. So not really.

Are you loyal to a brand (i.e. evian/vittal/buxton)?

Yeah, I drink Imsdal. (norwegian brand)

Is price a factor?

Sometimes it is

Would promotion highlighting the benefits persuade you
to switch to Belu?

No.. If it tastes good, and the bottle looks cool, i'd prolly drink it alot.

squirrelly
Do you buy bottled water?

Hell yes I do.

If so, why?

Because I don't feel like drinking gross bacteria? (Yea, I'm that person who pours bottled water into the pot for cooking)

Do you ever consider its impact upon the environment?
(ie: transport emisssions, plastic consumption, the
throw away culture which ends up in land fill)

Honestly, no.

Are you loyal to a brand (i.e. evian/vittal/buxton)?

Yes, Hydro. It's delish. Specifically the pomegrante flavor.

Is price a factor?

I'm not paying over 2 bucks for a bottle.

Would promotion highlighting the benefits persuade you
to switch to Belu?

No.
