With such a nickname no wonder youre pissed at techy-electroish stuff.
However, are you aware that trance is probably the most predictible, beat to death, unoriginal genre in the industry.
sure it works fine with huge crowds
or e-pits
but seriously dont comment music when you listen to music which has not evolved in the last 5 years.
my point is saying stuff like "im tired of tech because its not original anymore but i do like trance" is likely to bring insults. |

Ya way to pigeon-hole someone on their nickname that they chose over FIVE years ago:rolleyes:
Dude i have been listening to EDM since 1987....from techno, to disco house, to trance, to tribal, to big band etc etc etc.
I havent listened to Tiesto in about 2.5 years...so next time you judge someone maybe you should know them:rolleyes: |

ouch thanks for putting me in my place !
judged you on false premisses.
But you have to admit that choosing this is misleading :p I mean come on...tiesto...lol
Seeing that you are more than a simple trancecracker, please elaborate your boredom in electro-technoish stuff
ps: my point in the previous message was to state that saying "trance is unoriginal" was oxymoronic. |

Beleive i would love to change my name...but.
Its not that i am "bored" of electro techy stuff...just that i think the whole sound is crap...seems like all it is a new market for superstar DJs to rape and shove down the throat of retard listeners...which apparently has worked since it caught on so hard over the past few years. |

i used to a lot....but over the past year he hasnt been playing the good anymore, so i am now really into old school stuff...like Levan, Knuckles, Humphries, Carpenter, Tenaglia sets from the early 1990s and Tribal DJs like Entrena, Poker and RPO. |

| I've never given a if what I played or listened to was 'cool' it was for a while when trance became big mainstream but that didn't change a thing, i just kept listening. Now a lot of it's gone to poop I just explore deeper. Plenty of great progressive trance (NOT Schulz etc) coming out, fused with some good prog house and psytrance is finally getting it's head sorted after getting too ott for it's own good up until early 2005 (yeah the is still there, but a lot isn't) Otherwise some chillout stuff is good along with drum & bass and rock. Why restrict yourself so much when there's a lot of good to be had, without touching tribal, electro, house or 'deep house' :) |
