Unhealthy diet? (pg. 2)

I eat pretty well I think.
Yogurt, fruit (assorted and apples), milk, steak, chicken, cheese, rice, occasional pasta (whole wheat,) bread (12 grain,) 100% natural peanut butter, and whole wheat cereal.
That is pretty much my grocery list (plus or minus a bit here and there).
I usually pick up one thing of chocolate for my stash, but that is the only thing I feel I indulge on. However, I do eat out often (restaurants REAL FOOD,) like ceaser salads, and pasta or something. I guess that is where my "unhealthy" food comes from. |

I eat whatever I want! Definitely not a person who regulates what goes into my body. I eat for taste first and foremost, but that doesn't mean I eat all crap all the time. I DO have a fairly balanced diet, and that's because I was raised in a healthy home...so it comes naturally. I take a multivitamin every day too...cause there are definitely times when I don't eat nutritiously.
Edit: didn't really answer the question properly, lol. I'm really just a meat and potatoes kinda girl. I love hearty home-cooked foods (yay for Hungarian cooking!). I eat lots of chicken, steak, pork, veggies, rice, fruits, salads, breads, pasta, eggs, cheese, milk, etc...pretty much everything. Like I said, I have a fairly balanced diet. I eat lots of crap too though, lol. Though not as much as I used to...it's too expensive. |

I've been taking Centrum for the last six months, and I don't feel they've been doing much for me, so I probably going to go back to GNC, and get the individual supplements again. |

so i was watching oprah a couple weeks ago and they had these nutritionist dudes on it. really got me thinking about how much most food isn't even good for you anymore because it's so processed...i mean i usually get wheat bread or whatever bla bla bla...but even that isn't good for you unless it's whole wheat bread...i guess i just never thought about it...
things that make you go hmmmmm... |

Well you're not really supposed to "feel" the results of a multivitamin. They're just to supply you with the recommended intake of key vitamins and minerals, that you may not be getting for whatever reason.
I take Bayer One-A-Day Women's formula. It's not like I FEEL any different...but I don't bruise as easily as I used to, which is one of the reasons I started taking it in the first place. It just gives me peace of mind for those times when I'm not taking proper care of myself. Every little bit helps! |

I'm fully aware of the purpose of taking vitamins, and I'm no specifying that I was expecting to 'physically' feel the difference in my health, while taking a multivitamin. :haha:
I just wanted to compare notes with you, on what you take as a supplement - that's all. Plus, I was just saying I might go back to taking individual supplements, since they're 'clinically' proven to absorb better in your body. |

Ah, well from your post it seemd like you were expecting certain noticeable results.
I'm no supplement queen. I just take the one vitamin and that's it. I prefer "natural" living! |

Eh, taking one vitamin, or individual vitamin supplements - they're no different, in terms of living a natural life. :wtf: |
