my mom is into natural remedies for a lot of stuff.
she got me into putting plain yogurt with some lemon juice in it (mix it up) and putting it on my face before bed. not like glob it on, but rub it in as more of a moisturizer. it kinda dries up, but in the morning when u wash it off, ur face feels really nice. |

tea tree oil is the ... and it smells good too.
never knew it could be used for canker sores though! gonna have to try that since i have a really annoying one on the inside of my lower lip. |

You can also modify your deisel engine to use tea tree oil instead of gas, and it even improves the gas mileage by about 5 mpg.:toothless |

Pharmaceutical companies filter through millions of different compounds and test their effects to isolate the ones with the most gains versus losses. After which they can be processed to be even safer or more effective, and then are tested for several years before ever hitting the market. Those so called "natural" cures go through very little if any testing. Their long term effects are completely unknown, and some of them may very well be dangerous. |

| Finally! A thread that's worthy of reading and responding to...now, herbal remedies exist for almost every condition. You know why? Because they come from the Earth, and GUESS what else does?! There exists no synthetic DRUG that surpasses what naturally occurs. I know there are skeptics on both ends, but holistic medicine ftmfw! |
