Halo guys,
i remember this topic was post twice... and it was a very big thread
but used the search forum n it sux badly! cant find any....
and i remember there is a tutorial... by tylerC / Etheral.... i forgot who!
the tutorial teachs us how to sidechain.. by using the FL Peakcontroller... it goes like layering a "mute" kick on the pattern channel then link it to the "synth" that we want to sidechain...
can anyone bring the thread back???

put kick on FX channel 1, synth on FX 2.
load peak controller on FX 1, and then fruity compressor on FX 2. you can mute the peak controller or not, whatever you want...(option to mute is in the bottom left corner of the plugin)
Rclick on threshold on the compressor > link to controller > Peak Cntrl (insert 1) Peak + LFO > accept
turn the 1st peak controller knob hard left, the second hard right.(or just adjust those knobs as you desire). and then turn up the compressor ratio.
adjust the 3rd knob of the peak controller for decay control purposes.
and that's just one way of doing it, you can have the peak controller controling the volume or the filter cut off or whatever, i just use the compressor method cause i dunno.
hope this helps. |

i now realized its worded very poorly, but you get the drift. i typed that soon after i figured out how to do it. if its unclear at all let me know and i'll try to explain it better.
i would recommend the method that i mention at the end - controlling the peak controller with a separate, muted kick (the default DNC_kick works perfectly). |

Easier way is just to use TC Native sidechainer on say kick channel and put tc native compressor on say the bass channel and click key input then adjust ratio, threshold, attack and release settings to get the pump you require. |
