WANTED: Old laptop - I don't care if screen hinges are broken or battery is dead

So as the title states, I'm looking to buy (as cheaply as possible, free is best) an old laptop.
Something around a PII 300MHz system with 32MB RAM is preferable, but I'll stoop as low as a P166 machine with 8MB. Screen and harddrive size does not matter, as long as it is all working.
NOTES: I don't care if the screen hinges are broken, as long as the screen works. I also don't care if the battery doesn't hold a charge, as I won't be using the battery anyway. In fact, I encourage both of these things, as it just makes it all easier for me.

Does it have to be complete?
A buddy has about 5 or 6 he raped for parts, they are all the same pretty much, IMB thinkpads, some may be more upgraded than others.
I can inquire anything you wish to him if all your looking for is working parts. |

I have an Dell Inspiron 7100, big 15.4" screen, hinges are broken, battery is fried, power adaptor still works (boots win98), keyboard works, touchpad works.
I can format the drive and you can have it for $100. |

my laptop just crashed on me.
The disk drive failed. Other than that, its fine. Except the battery gets 6 minutes of life.
I got 1gb of RAM in there...
I don't know what to do w/ it...
I wouldn't mind selling it so I can get a new iPod Nano or something like that... |
