My buddy called me from the show in SA last night. Said they were having a great time and he threw down a great set. ATB loves playing Dallas, so expect all of his energy for tonight. |

He also played Adam Nickey - Perfect Destiny (Alexy Selin Remix)...damn that song is good.
I showed up when he was already on decks. He played some good stuff, but it almost seemed like he dipped into some pseudo-Tidy Trax at the end. The crowd was decent and the vibe was good, so I ended up having a great time. |

| the last time i saw him perform at the same venue was not a bad time...nothing extraordinary but better than nothing...i just moved here from nyc and i'm waiting for an armin van buuren gig...literally checking the ticket sites everyday to see if anything changed but it seems armin doesn't perform down here as frequently as the east coast...anyways i just bought my tickets so hopefully ATB won't disappoint tonite...also am trying to get to know some people down here in Dallas who are into the whole EDM scene so hope to meet some people tonite... |

| I have never gone to an ATB show with the intent of just being blown away by the music. This is one of the few shows that it's just fun to go to because of how many people go and have a good time. Plus Dirk won't be there so you know I'll have fun. |

It's not a matter of where you go. It's who you are going to see. You have to take shows like ATB for what they are. It's kind of like going to an Oakenfold or PVD show. You know you are going to get the run of the mill commercialized set that most people identify with. The show will be fun if you realize that and check your 'trance elitist' coat at the door.
I figure someone from NY would know that.:eyespop: |
