Finish it! :whip:

Nice track.. definately agree about the stronger pads.. they'll accentuate the power of the melody a bit more.. piano sounds great.. also the bassline could use a bit more emphasis.. really digging it in general.. good stuff

^ easy fixes for the base that you've layed down already. Great track, wonderfull 4 part harmony and bassline instrumentation !

I don't listen to a ton of trance anymore, but this is hot. I really like the melody a lot, definitely need to work on the highs a little bit as I definitely agree with the "hissy" comment. Bassline needs some work, either needs to be turned up or just have a little something added to it. I like the bassline, it's just like I'm barely getting enough of it though.

Your kick may also be a bit much - It just seems to have a lot of weight behind it.

For the most part though, this tune makes me want to play trance again :)

Well done

Couldn't agree more. Today is one of the rare days I venture into this section of TA. It's rare that I get goosebumps listening to anything anymore, but this achieved just that. Class work here. :)

Love the melody, let us know when you complete the track, I'd love to hear the full outcome.

The kick is too much.
I almost can't hear the bass.
Raise the pads too.
the saw sounds really bumping and the atmosphere sounds really laid back.
Try combining it with a softer synth.
Great atmosphere, awsome stuff.

do something about the kick, it sounds a bit to low and lacks punch in the highs. You should filter out the saw synth in the break, its too up front. The pads are really nice. That saw synth never changes the whole track :S, very boring. MElodies are ok, but the track never really gets loose....it stays the same the whole time, doesnt really go anywhere, too bad :(

Not every track has to feature a thousand variations per second.
I still prefer gradual build-ups to the overproduced hard-to-follow trance that is coming out these days.

i really wanted to give this track a gradual climax - not a scenario where a drumroll tears through, and afterwards we have everything playing at once. Instead, I chose to build the main beat back up after the breakdown, element by element. Adding little bass stabs, flicks, layered synths along the way.

this of course will not work for everyone, but it works for me and I understand & enjoy it. But the variations might be too subtle for others to notice or really enjoy. Ultimately, though, this music is made to make me happy - and then whoever else chooses to join me in enjoying it :p
