errr i was thinking the scene is getting WAY better in montreal. Stereo bringing all the names i want to see. Death to scetchy places (aria).
We have tribe which i've stopped hating now, bringing amazing bookings, SAT bringing all the electro we need. vicci and 1234 doing some cool stuff to get noobers into better music.
P.S. Im sure you "working" in the government, get your ass off TA, it's our tax dollars that pay your party expenses. Go work bitch.:whip: |

heh heh, I posted that thread during my lunch break. Interesting of note, in the other thread, a TA was getting flamed because he wasn't from Montreal. There are Montrealers who are ignorant of the edm scene, and then ppl from outside Montreal who go there regularly.. and of course the web allows you to be connected too.
ANF got flamed a lot too but it's important that we raise our concerns about the bookings as well, that's half the party right there. Promoters and GK have to pay attention to these web boards too. Tiesto himself would do well not to :p as the Montreal crowd is fickle. Maybe that's why we didn't see Benassi this year at BeB, probably won't see Guetta at the next one and why we didn't see Tenaglia this year at Black and Blue, though he apparently had an off night here. Clamaran won't be back anytime soon for a massive. |

you should be concerned about the state of ottawa's nightlife.
It's horrid. absolutely horrid, with the exception of helsinki which pwns my bones. Lotus lounge is always filled with these little raver kids lost in 1993, heaven is the furthest thing from heaven, worst sound system bar none. |

thread hijack. MTL, Mercury Lounge and Lounge 426 have some stuff going on too. Also, watch for a club in Gatineau that plays house, very big club too, opens in Nov.
Heaven dropped the ball for sure.. great location and layout has potential.

you're right, i dig mercury lounge, Mtl has too many overally gay guys...like ok you're gay GET THE OVER IT. I cant stand the crowd at mtl. |
