I knew about the AWD and 5 cylinder focus being in the works - but this car looks bloody slick.
Question of the day (and the reason why the focus SVT died): are people prepared to spend in the low $30k range for a focus? If the focus is geared up like this one - I would be, but how many else would?
Personally - I love my focus SVT. I've had many cars and this is by far the most fun to drive (less fun for my passengers who don't appreciate the performance nature of the vehicle as much as I do). |

People routinely spend $50k on tarted-up Imprezas (also an economy car at heart), $30k+ on what is essentialy a Golf, and $30k+ on a Civic Si, so why not?
The RS has Ford's rally heritage behind it. I assume they'd market it as such, a direct competitor to the WRX. |

They need to get a team behind it like they did with the performace car specialists Cosworth and then people will pay anything!! Ditto on the RS rally...
I remember the mk1 escorts and sierras.... This car is uber sexy and as long as performance is up to hype, I think it will be a very popular car at home! Look for the Top Gear review ;) |

I bet Cosworth will be in there somewhere, they massaged the 2 litre in the Focus SVT here to 170 ponies without a hairdryer.
All-wheel-drive + turbo + Focus = pretty much guaranteed a Cosworth job somewhere.

Then you stroll over to this heavy breathing mass of super-fresh pork meat and nuzzle your head into it's crotch. You take a well-spent furry bacon sac into your mouth.. and then suck the gritty sweat off with whole-hearted enthusiasm.
THIS… is how much our Focus sucks.
