Finally got round to doing this mix especially after the hiccups with the leads blowing on me and then there is the bout of man flu which I am getting rid of at the moment.
Top tip - to clear man flu get a few beers and have a mix, my god I feel better!
Think this mix has turned out OK. I had to re-arrange my mixer and have it at the side of my decks which was weird as it was no longer in the middle of my set up. All thanks to the new lead which is an all important 30cm short of actually being 1.5m. Bloody JVC!

mix is back online to all those who have been having difficulties.
sorry, it happens most times I put a mix up. think its cos I get thousands of people download my mixes. the last one got 7,907 i think so the server was up and down a lot.
you just cant get the staff nowadays :haha: |

| Half the mix was well done, therefore you get half the acknowledgement. Whatever you did for the first 40 minutes you should have kept at it for the rest of the mix. There was a lot of soul and spirit in the tracks that you used in the beginning, but it seems that you’ve missed your stop and got lost in traffic. That’s exactly how I felt after listening to your set. There was a lot going, but you didn’t quite make the best of it in the end. I’m not sure if it was laziness or what, but for the next time bring it one hundred percent or don’t bring it at all. Work on your structure and track selection. To sum up, this mix was hit or miss so if I were to give it a rating it would be a six out of ten. |

thank you for the honest feedback. I like it when people do that. Being ill whilst recording it might have had something to do with it. I did also get the feeling myself that the track selection was a bit desperate towards the end, maybe it's cos I don't get enough time to go tune shopping anymore.
Will bear that in mind for my next mix. thanks a lot, much appreciated :D |
