My question to Eugene and all those that in follow-up agree with him is this: do you consider chemistry as being only physical attraction??

Exactly...I agree with you there...and to some extent, with what LKD said earlier.

Personally, personlity and the chemistry between 2 people and their personality is more important to me than a physical attraction. But, that doesn't mean that thats the only thing I look for...like I said, I am superficial...so looks do matter...to me. I have to like the girl physically...but, if she's stupid and our personalities don't match...well, the hell with her. On the other hand, if our personalities match...and she's moderately attractive...then its fine by me. I'm not shallow enough to only go for girls that incredibly hot...like some of the girls from the Sexy Raver/Clubber girls thread. Its all about balance ;)

I had a couple of o.n.s.
The first one I was completely hammered and only remember her kicking me out because I told her she was horible.'
And the second one I was again completely hammered and the chick was drop dead ugly. Ya it sucks wakin up next to a girl that you thought was hot the night before but then all of a sudden she isn't.

Had a couple of ONS myself as well. Its hard to say no to a chick that when your plastered looks decent and has her hand down your pants. The bad thing was a buddy walked in on us and i havnt lived it down since. I shudder every time i meet a chick named Lisa and they laugh.

On a more serious note, I've had a couple one night stands and i usually feel ty about doing it as soon as it's over. Even though i used a coat i still worry and i feel bad about using the girl. Just when i am drunk all i think about is getting in her pants and now i start thinking about her as a person and i fell like . I know that is all i want from her and she might want more. God i am an ass.

i know what you mean (not on the o.n.s point of view but when i just kissed with a girl and she does want to have a relationship and i don't wanna, and that feeling gets worse when a girlfriend of her told me that she thought that i also wanted to have something for a bit longer..)

I was talking about physical attraction. I agree it's not the only factor, but it's an extremely important one.

Do you know how many couples seek therapy because they say "Oh, we have great personalities, and we truly value each other's personality, but there's no physical attraction..." -- they inevitably break up later.

Physical attraction is a vital component of a relationship.
Anyone who denies this, is lying to oneself, in order to conform to what society considers "moral" and "correct," or (alternatively) to seek reassurance due to low self-esteem.

I had a one day stand hehe.
Just met a girl in school who wants to have sex, and I dont say no!
So we are just friends, not lovers, but if we wanna have sex we meet eachother.
I dont wanna have a gf, if its like this im happy!

If im older (26 or so)
then I go for a serious relation...

I am not saying that it is not vital, but it is not a priority. Now, character is a priority. It is NOT because "you seek reassurance due to low self-esteem" but because looks can easily disappear..

Ive had 3 one night stands.

Atually i was drunk at all 3 of them , so i cant remember all. It usually happens when you go away with ya mates , I have a g/f now and she gives 7 night stands a week , so im happy .
