...but I love you guys and the forum and do love trance. I wanted to open up my progress on this piece to critiquing. I'm currently wrapping up the breakdown/middle section which resulted in doing some string orchestra arranging and writing. I wasn't expecting that! I think it works though. Where it ends is where I am going to build it up to a breakbeat section before bringing back the melody.
Also, one last preface; the reason the melody sounds repetitious right before the breakdown is because I simply have not yet mangled it. I left it alone for later because I wanted to plow ahead first. It'll probably end up being something ridiculous involving stutters, bit crushing, reverse EVERYTHING, who knows. Comment away!

| I like it, but for me anyway it sounds a bit too much like godspeed from BT even the melody sounds similar and the sound design sounds similar. Tough i do enjoy the the string sections a lot. |

| i agree with frost here... it does sound alot like godspeed... this could almost be a remix of it in fact... good work on it though.. |

melodies aren't the same as Godspeed, but it has the same style... very BT-ish.
