Looking for cheesyish house

Every real trancer needs a bit of a break from his favorite type of music every once in a while, right?
So I'm looking for DJs who spin or did spin cheesyish house tunes like Neja - Back for the Morning or Sophie Ellis Bextor - Murder on the Dancefloor (although I know these are pretty old). Some recommended sets would help a lot as well.
If you could, please don't just list names, but maybe give your input on them as well... Thanks! |

Louie Devito, mainstream, top 40 dance tracks, remixes and the like.
DJ Skribble, the same thing as Devito, with a lil more hip hop.
Jonathan Peters, cheesy diva house.
Johnny Vicious, somewhat like Devito and Skribble.
Vic Latino, somewhat like Devito, but plays some electro-house, hard house and trance as well.
The Riddler, a lot like Latino, but does play some progressive house too.
Mike Rizzo, plays top 40/remixes, euro dance, house, euro/vocal/cheesy trance..yeah.
can't say i'm a fan of these guys...but Vic Latino and the Riddler are pretty good DJs i'de say. Louie Devito and DJ Skribble are pretty big names, but I really can't stand their styles. Skribble's uses a lot of hip hop techniques while mixing stuff..does mashups and such, and Devito just plays really mainstream/pop stuff. But some might call what these guys play "cheesy house".
You can find these guys on Ultra...like "Ultra Dance" or "Ultra Trance" and the Riddler with his "Dance Mix NYC CDs". Louie Devito has a lot of different CDs out.
Alright i'm not sure if they played those particular ones, but I wouldn't doubt that Louie Devito did back in the mid or later 90s. |
