| I've had it for about a year now. BBC radio one is great for the friday nights. Area 33 is generally not too bad. my only complaint is that the channel can become rather repetitive. It has gotten much better lately though, with lots of new (to sirius at least) tracks. Also, im a big Stern fan.. so that made the deal a slam dunk. If you do get it installed, have it wired directly into your deck. the FM transmitter thing sucks especially in the GTA. |

why would u pay for something thats suppose to be free. i swear theyre gonna start charging us for oxygen one day
and the reason they do this is because people like you will pay. just like raps tv and leafs tv and how they have every soccer game on sattelite now. why?!? because theres enuff ppl stupid enough to fall for it. if everyone said you and just didnt pay we'd still have all these things on our regular cable package and on our radio
i mean if they wanted to, our cell phone service could be free. instead of a ring tone when u call someone they could put a quick advertisement. then the advertising companies could pay for our phone use. but nope wont ever happen, instead theyll put ludacris on the in ringtone telling me to keep ballin and spend my cash on useless i dont need.
U CORPORATE AMERICA!!!

u laugh but i think its a pretty good idea. i mean instead of ringtones they got ludacris why cant they throw a 30 second commercial on there like "buy colgate" then charge advertising companies for the space. theyll prolly make more money that way then taking my 30 bucks a month. but like i said theyd never do that and then give me free service. theyd do that on top of my service fee so they could make more money.
if advertsiing companies will pay ppl to tatoo their company logo on their ass cheek soo it will be viewed by some ppl watching a football game when they streak across the field, why wouldnt they pay money for us to listen to their advertisement every call we make? |

It's a horrible idea. I will gladly pay (although I don't... yeah expense account) for cell service rather then be annoyed with advertising.
BTW, people said the same thing about cable television as you are saying about satellite radio. |

i know but the cable companies are being retarded too with this . i mean just because theyve gotten away with it once doesnt mean it was a good idea. i mean i cant watch a leaf game on regular tv anymore?! like wtf, who is really hurting here? me or the leafs (who suck ass and are losing viewers by the year in a league that has been ruined by a strike 2 years ago)?
and btw i woul totally listen to the cherios jingle over paying 45 bucks a month for my service and im sure alot of students would too |

If paying the bill is a hardship perhaps you shouldn't have the phone. It's not as if cell phones are necessities.
Cable companies haven't "gotten away with" anything. They provide a service that people are willing to pay for. Granted, the whole idea of bundles is annoying but hey, you don't have to have cable... you choose to. Just like the cell phone. If you aren't willing to pay for it then don't but some people are and as long as that is true these services will continue to operate as they do. Rest assured, however, if people decide they don't want to pay the services will not become free, they will no longer be offered. |

hey man im justtrying to make the world a less expensive place for everyone.
just like hookers. i think they should have advertising on their assess this way a bj wont be as expensive as they usually are when i get out of guv all sketched on jarvis. instead of saving that 100 bucks for a bj and a cab ride home i can blow it on more pills thus making the dealers more rich thus making the gov't spend more money on shipping more pills over and spending more moeny on authority. win win situation for everyone?! |
