1. The game deserves the hype
2. The game is expensive? get a job then buy it!
3. The game wasn't rushed, its been in developement for quite a while
and How can the online suck if its not even out? You dont even have an xbox 360 to know if its online mode sucks!
4. No! quite a bit is in-game. There a no fake screenshots, they are real.
5. The company is called Epic, and both games are good, not just Unreal Tournament.
6. Xbox 360 is great. Its gonna reach 10 million units soon. I care. and so do the 6+ million who have bought it. and how you gonna play Unreal 2007 if you dont have an xbox 360? |

I think # 4 proves that you think the graphics are so amazing, that they have to be fake. After reading another thread, I've realized that this poster really believes in his comments. It's easy to follow the majority isn't it? Probably just a mindless japanese drone, buying whatever the media tells him to buy. And the media is telling him to buy the ps3.

| So if anyone gets this tonight at Midnight/early tomorrow, will you give me a real quick initial thoughts review - I'm REALLY tight on money right now, but may very well pick this up if it proves worthwhile. My gf (lucid) really wants to play it as well, so we'd both appreciate any thoughts! :) |

I will be geting my copy tommarrow. As for me, i usually always jump online. Sometimes i dont even play the single player at all. That wont be the case with GOW. Imma show the single player some love.
Im going straight online tommarow. And yessss, i will be testing out my chainsaw.....

Just got the picked up Gears of War, cant give a real review.
Played the single player briefly, ING INSANE!!!!!
Notice i said briefly. Let alone it was still insane!!!
Jumped online......whole diffent experience. ING SICK!!!!!
If you own a 360. Gear of War is a must have game.
Seriously....
No Seriously.....
Im not hyping this game, it really is that good.
Good luck trying to find it. I heard loads of stories of about people trying to pick it up. But no luck. |

Well, I had a copy reserved (just wasn't going to pick it up today due to cash concerns - but groceries.), but they didn't even get enough to cover reserves. :(
Apparently all the kids went right from school to GameCrazy and snatched up every copy they had.
I'm going to try a couple other places tonight after class, but it's not lookin' good. |
