Yes, of course you deserve to be fired. All places of work adhere to a strict no drugs policy - some will be more thorough in seeking out those who are using than other companies, but regardless of how the may hit the fan for you, the outcome will be of no fault but your own. Don't take the risk if you're not prepared to suffer the consequences.

| If I remember correctly, when you get a job you sign something saying that you wont do drugs and that you consent to drug testing. That's why they can test and then fire your ass. |

I dont get drug test where i work, but i dont do drugs either, nor i plan to. It's just that i find it offensive to be fired over a positive even if you keep being a good employee, thats what i think.

| yes, there are some or few people who can take drugs and be actually efficient in what they do, but i'm sure the majority might let those drug habits piral out of control or have their efficiency lowered. i stilldon't think drug testing should be allowed or maybe if thye have a reason to believe the person is some type of junkie/comes into work high. |
