It sounds like a lot of your synths aren't loud enough, maybe if you boosted the volume it would improve the track. As it stands, the track doesn't really take off to a happy place.
Good luck!:gsmile: |

| its a good production, but the melodic line doesn't do it for me with that disconent chord in the middle so it puts me off the whole track :( but otherwise everything sounds great :) |

Sick sounding from the get-go. Nice kick, bassline, and acidic runs.
Effects aren't turning out so bad either.
PERFECT CLAP... fresh with enough high-end, yet not overpowered...
Synths are early 00s, but with a tad of repetition for the buildup. You could probably scatter some additional variation in the synth line, but that's just me.
OOPS... DIssonant chord is not sounding like it was meant to be. Otherwise, the melody was working rather well. Is that lead a Vanguard synth? Once the chords flow from one key to another, the dissonance sounds a TAD more natural, but you need to work on making it sound natural. I'm all for melodic experimentation, and I hope you can make this work. By all practical purposes, the melody is wonderful, minus the problem.
As the melody loops itself, the other elements -- flutish pads and airy choral sounds, are EXCELLENT. Veyr dreamy, and thought provoking. THis is emotional, and I can see that there are some less-than happy energy being put into this track.
There is someting wrong with the bass... and I'm not sure why it seems to be a tad muddy, but in these ATH-D40s, it doesn't sound like it's mixed to perfection. Don't worry, I was still able to keep up with it...
Good work. Keep it up! |
