But i have no significant ear loss, just very tired and need to rest and stay away from pounding music for a while.

Thank you for the nice post Mitsu, very appreciated.

Ya so I have tears in my eyes :(:(:( Seriously...
My heart sunk when I saw the thread, mon dieu...

I understand and aggree with you completely sweetheart...You rock out amazingly each time (even if you say that lately it's been a half-decent performance...NOT TRUE!!!) I just don't know what else to say except take care of your ears, be fair to yourself, and pleeeeeeaaaaaaaassssssseeeeeeeee keep in touch with me :) Take a holiday for a week or 2...That should do you some good :)

I'm happy to hear about the RM20 happening in early 2007. Quite happy. After RM19, I was like, DAMNNNNNNNNN I can't believe it's the last one, and the only one I got to go to, and I had to leave early...So, a final one is definitely in order :)

I remember you telling me ALLLLLL the time during your past 3 or 4 sets that you couldn't hear anything...That made me worry about you a bit Martin! All of us here know that our ears are the reason we post on this forum...Personally, I'd FOR SURE rather be blind than deaf.

I hope to hear some banging productions from you...But please, for now, TAKE IT EASSSSSSSY and have a nice, sweet, restful period.

All the best Martin, *tears*,

You are too sweet Erika, thanks a lot. Don't be sad, it's just a little, necessary break. 2 months is nothing really. I will keep in touch with for sure.

That's super unfortunate about the hearing- wow. I suggest some musicians earplugs, either the 15 or 25 db, depending- they save ears.

http://www.etymotic.com/ephp/erme.aspx

its like the tenth time we talk about this product in here.

I have a clinic in Laval where they make them
if you are interesred I could look up for the number and contact them

price is around 100$ for the mold and 100$ for the filters of your choice. plus tax
they last for years... as long as you don't wet the filters

is it the er-20 ? cause if you have those stick in your ears... for sure it will touch your headphones...
well... when i did my molds I told the lady i wanted them to have a minimum coming out of my ears... so we did the mold twice before having something nice..

Call there to have informations... to order or even make some.
I did the professionnal ones and they cost 200 $ if you have a prescription from a docteur (which is simple to get) you save on the taxes. so it end up at 200 $
I have the ER-25 and it attenuates the sound a bit too much I think.
I don'T enjoy the music that much...
from that experience, I would recommend the ER-15.
It should do the job (protect and enjoy)
Its 100 $ for a pair of remplacement buttons and they last a year (of use) I only went clubbing 5 times with them. They should last very long depending on how often you go out.

I didn't get the er-15 like i planned in the past.
I choosed the er-9 instead and they are what we need.
it lower the sound just enough, to hear the music not too loud and feel the energy.
I don'T know if still today, getting a prescription could save on taxes.
Ask them to know where you could do these.
AND DON'T BE SHY TO TELL THEM YOU WANT THEM TO HAVE A MINIMUM OUT OF YOUR EARS! the mold can be redone before you pay for it.

NOTE: when wearing earplugs, you feel the bass vibrating in your ears! this is not bad for your hearing and it is not that annoying. but protecting yourself is important.

I am totally satisfy with this product
