well now that live 6 supports video display i have some cuts of video i plan on piecing together but i need some recomendations of video editing software.
i know there are some really expensive ones and i've done some google research but i'm happy i didn't go buy pro tools for 10k and bought ableton for $200 when i started producing. i'm guessing video editing software has similar instances.
thx |

The first one that comes to mind is Adobe Premiere.
Or maybe Sony Vegas. Both quite expensive and not really worth it
if you're just going to piece together some videos.
I'm sure there are other cheaper ones.
One of the results from Google:
Best Free Video Editing Software
Good luck! :)

get Adobe Premiere Pro 2
its expensive but worth it! If you're not that serious about video editing then i'm not so sure but either way its still a lot cheaper than Avid or final cut for Macs. |

Sony Vegas 7.
It's easy to use.
And easy to steal.
Just don't make any money off of using it or scary men in suits with sony logos burned into their forheads will come and make short work of you.
*edit... been using Vegas since version 4, and I love it. Every year I get a education demo release that expires end of Nov, so technically I'm not stealing. I'm just poor. |
