Hey all,
Need a little help...
I want to put together a CD with nothing but songs made up with 80s song samples/beats in it.
If any of you have some ideas for some songs that fit that criteria, then post away and I thank you in advance! :) :) :) |

i hate this kinds of songs...
i prefer a complete trance remix of a classic 70's, 80's or 90's song.
But using only a old sample during the break, and the rest of the song is a convencional trance song... mmmmmhhhh... i think this people cant build NEW music.. its only a RECICLE .
Anyway, good luck with your search.

That's actually what I meant.
But doesn't a complete trance remix use a sample anyways? How else would you recognize it? :)
I wasn't specifically looking for just songs with sample 'breaks' as you put it, rather the sample is throughout the song like you suggested, so you're right! ;)
I find it interesting that these artists choose to use samples of older songs and put a different spin on the original.
Recycled? Of course. Anything wrong with it? Not at all. :) |
