Obviously, it's a quintessential combination. Classic really.
The elements which really add to this combination are the vegetables really. Some solid crispy lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes really go a long way in a sandwich these days. |

Oh, I agree with you wholeheartedly. I do have to say though that the idea of a Ham & Swiss sandwich with just a dash of dijon is somewhat brilliant in its simplicity. It's as if there is really nothing else needed - The flavors just bring out the best in each other. |

Dijon is key. Lately I've been favoring the 'honey dijon' which really adds a different dimension to the entire experience. |
