I've always considered that a measure of greatness for EDM producers and DJs... to be able to tell a story or create a journey from just sounds and no words =) |

Cielo can blow me.... Yes it is my fault for not buying tickets or not getting on the wearerobots list but come on. To leave a line of people willing to pay outside for an hr and 10 minutes with out moving is ridiculous..... (I left after that long could be longer)
It was a Robots/techno/minimal party right???? Not a Vip , P diddy bottle party?
Go blow me cielo...... !!!!!! |

Sorry you missed out. To be honest, you can't really blame Cielo, though. They seriously could not put more people inside. We saw Sidml come in at like 2:15 and he said he'd been out there for half an hour. We were really worried at 1:45 when 4-6 firemen came in that the party would be shut down for a occupancy violation.
Review tomorrow, but to be brief until then....best party in a long time. I <3 Cielo as a venue and it makes great music sound all the better. The only thing that was weird was it was a real sausage fest, I'm assuming because of advanced tickets. No bathroom line for girls, 10-15 people long for guys. :wtf: We stayed until 3:30, 4 tracks into Dennis' closing set. |

All I can say is Trentmoller killed it... best DJ that I've seen at Cielo. The basslines on that system were massive. Good seeing GHB & barosoap out... agree with GHB that girls were a little too scarce... most packed I've seen Cielo though. If you didnt get there around 12:30, it seems like you were ed. Hopefully he gets a gig at WMC, or comes back to NYC sometime when I dont have to leave early for work
