Hi guys - this is my latest uplifting trance piece im working on - its about 80 % complete...i would appreciate your opinion on it , about the melody,arrangement etc. :)
It took me quite a while to create & compose a melody i really like - im taking more time on songs now..tell me what you think :toocool:

A really sweet melody! I would like a more driving kick and at the moment it sounds a bit empty. Hope to hear the full soon! :)

Thanks...im just putting the finishing touches to the final version - made the strings louder in the first break and put an addional synth in the climax ..aswell as another stringy pad in the first part of the song :)

This is a slick production.
+ Emotional Melody...
+ Nice Bass...
+ Well rounded, simple kick...
+ Good arps and electronic-beepy leads...
+ Sweeping strings...
+ Very emotive breakdown with some useful fx...
+ One of those high swirly pads was a nice touch.
- Bass sometimes seemed to become a bit drowned and muddied by other elements. Perhaps a sharper denotation on the offbeat delay lines?
- Melody needs a "lead" player that will make it more cohersive. Something piano-ish, perhaps.
- The kickdrum is a little too key in the mix... the climax should share the spotlight with other elements.
I don't know why, but this kinda reminds me of ATB. Good work... chill! |

Cheers four on four-er - great feedback! Yeah thats one of the problems i have in my stuff - the bassline drowning a little when all the melodies are in their in the main bit of the song..
Well ive finished now and quite happy with it - ive sent it off to a few labels so if the doesnt work it'll be on here as a free full download :toocool: |
