Die-hard house enthusiasts and mainstream clubgoers collide this month as Toronto-based DJ Sean Miller launches his new bi-monthly residency "Clash" at Sonic Nightclub. Aimed at providing a distinct fresh take on house music, the highly-anticipated residency will see Miller headline while also featuring support from other up-and-coming Toronto-based artists. Clash is the latest indication of DJ Sean Miller's growing popularity and rapid evolution as a globally recognized music artist.
"You can expect something different from this new night." explains Miller. "Clash is about quality music and stepping outside of the box, while still pushing boundaries and moving things forward. It excites me to launch this new brand in Toronto at Sonic with the people who support me the most."
A formally trained musician that pursued a passion for electronic music, both as a DJ and a producer, Miller has spent the last 10 years honing his craft and refining his trademark cutting edge sound. Recently signed by TCA, one of the world’s largest DJ booking agencies of high-caliber artists – Sean’s strong and loyal following in the Toronto house music scene has garnered increased attention and support from internationally renowned artists and producers such as the legendary Steve Lawler and Spanish DJ duo Chus & Ceballos.
With numerous North American tours under his belt, production signed to some of the most respected labels in dance music, and now his new "Clash" residency and record label - Sean Miller is carving his own distinct groove both in Canada and abroad.
Starting Saturday November 25th, 2006, Clash will take place bimonthly at Sonic Nightclub.
From warm up sets, to main room sets, to extended 9 hour plays, Sean Miller can captivate any dance floor. With his prestigious 2-year residency at Boa in Toronto (currently David Morales’ Sonic), and his position as official opening DJ on Steve Lawler’s “Lights Out” and “Viva” tours in North America, Miller has earned his place alongside the world’s biggest DJs. A gifted producer and highly talented DJ, Sean Miller continues to release tracks on a variety of prestigious labels such as Harlem Records, Stereo Productions and Saw Recordings.
Sonic Nightclub is owned and operated by Grammy Award Winner David Morales along with partner DJ Nevio Persia. Rich with hardwood floors, vibrant decor, a massive dance floor, garage-inspired custom Dymax lighting and equipped with a sound system that rivals the best in the world - Sonic Nightclub is a must-dance haven that features the best talent in dance music today. Located at 270 Spadina in Toronto, Canada, Sonic Nightclub is open late-night on Friday and Saturday nights.

Yeah, Jonny white rocks...he has a couple of tracks signed to Tic Tac Toe out of Denmark...you may recognize it as a label that has a few things from Trentmoller. ;-) Plus, he was Sean's first pick as an opener...I promise good tunes...otherwise I will kill him myself...LOL
Check out come video footage of Sean at his last headlining gig at Sonic...

Jonny has been present for most of Sean's sets in the past couple of months, and understands what he brings to the table. Mario J on the other hand, I'm sure had not really known what to expect from Sean.
Back in the Boa days, some of the best nights musically were the Sean Miller & Kenny Glasgow nights - and they are VERY contrasting in styles, but would both meet each other half way musically to make it work.
I expect the same from this combo....
sean also has gone very techy and minimal lately, so that wouldnt be a stretch for him at all
