alot of trance in that list but its hardly something to get excited about as it's unlikely to influence australian shores.
i would say acquiviva is the highest electro/techno dj, he plays the good interesting stuff and a veteran of the scene who deserves that spot imo.
but in summary i dont like that list at all and electro will still dominate here :p :whip: :( :mad: :thepirate |

paulie one good set from him is worth about 15 from anyone else - u aint seen it but yeah thats how i see it.
anywho yeah its all pretty much a bullcrap internet poll for comp00tah freaks and people who dont really wanna know better - but hey arent they the target audience here? :p
so yeah in summation there is so much trance in the top 50 its kinda ridiculous but i think it will affect oz - infact i think it already is.
(and yeah i have slightly pro trance views lol) |

i think this influences the trance djs, but all you guys are already pretty on it in terms of the sounds you want to everyone to hear, however building the numbers to smaller events is a far greater task and this poll is not going to help one iotta.
further to that, prog appears to be farked but we've all known that for a long time. hear i am thinking a revival is just around the corner... could the poll work in reverse? |

hmmz i guess - but like i dunno - the bigger promoters look at this poll for names - then they book em. so then peeps goto gods and 2tribes or whatever it is now. but they only happen once every few months - in the meantime punters think geez id like to hear some more of that music:- and isnt that where the obsessions and interviews of this world (who have been growing steadliy) kick in?
i know its a lot more than that but surely this is a part of it? |
