WOW! What an AWESOME night. Had the pleasure of meeting Rizen, DJ Blurr, DJ Taj, and Sean Tyas
Who played "Kyau vs Albert - Are you fine"? That totally tripped me out!
Also, DJ Blurr you owe this Paki brother a cd :D
Dj Blurr
All of you who came out last night, I want to express a BIG THANK YOU!
You all are welcome. As a Dj, you guys are what makes playing special. Seeing all of you in the crowd and welcoming smiles from all is what made me happy last night.
Again I got applause midway into my set. This is the second time I have played, and received the same response from all of you.. Felt amazing when I heard applause.. That really made my night after a long, long week, and plenty of months of promotions to bring this night together.
There were a few mishaps I wanted to express.
- The glowsticks event did not happen at 12:30. Artimus did not arrive in time for me to play our debut track, so I continued on with the night. I seen some of you who had glowsticks last night so I know some of you drifted from my crews party downstairs in the cirque lounge. I did end up handing these out durning Seans set. Sorry, did not have as many as I thought I would have.
- Tshirts I had were gone before I could pass them out.. (hehe) A few of them I had left I threw out into the crowd.
- I did not play to my full potential. There were more tracks I had in store, but due to some system instability, I could not play some of the tracks I had in mind for the night. I had to open the room at 11, and wanted you all to come in. So I left it at that and played what I had.
- CD's were not at the club when I arrived. My supplier did not bring the car that the CDs were in. Dissapointment for me, but I will be uploading a new mix here, or somewhere on TA for all of you to DL real soon, I owe it to all of you who came out.
My GL total was around 600 people. I wanted to take this time to thank all of you who helped promoting this night. Raymond, Charlie, Artimus, Stanley.. Everyone else who gave word of mouth of this night to others. Thank you. I heard the was some complications with the GL. Ill need more info on this, and will get back to you guys about this later if needed.
SimFox3, I will be giving out CDs when I am booked again, or you may download the mix here when I up it to TA. I was greeted yesterday with 2 more bookings. I will not reveal it now, but watch for my post coming up. I will give the info then = )
Sean also said 1015 was amazing, and hopes he can come back out soon to share another night with us. He was impressed with the level of people that were there. Sean, it was a pleasure opening for one of the hottest Djs around.
Once again, thank you to everyone who came out, and showed love for Sean, Taj and I. It really does mean alot hearing and seeing you all, expecially sharing the one thing we all love. TRANCE.
Anyone else with photos please feel free to email em to me if you can, or post them here. [email protected]

WOW, what a night! :eyes:
Got to 1015 around 10:20pm and didn't get in 'til 11:20pm, so took almost an hour to get in. Once in, made my way to the main room where Blurr was blowing it up with a wicked set! It was a great hand-off to Sean, who made it on at 1am. Like someone mentioned, 1015 was packed, but there was still plenty of room to move and dance.
Sean was friggin' UNBELIEVEABLE! No buildup since he only had a 2 hour set (was hoping for longer; maybe next time!), but he KILLED IT! I was tired from dancing my ass off the whole first hour and thought it could not possibly get any better, but the second hour was just as good. The whole place was jumping up and down when Sean played Lift. I was personally waiting for Diary of Jane (Sean's remix of course) and went bananas when he played it. I love how Sean's so animated in the DJ booth; it really helps the crowd get into it. Anyone else notice how many cigarettes he smoked during his set? :tongue2 Also, what was up with so many people in the DJ booth behind Sean? No offense to anyone of course, but I just think everyone hanging out behind Sean kind of detracted from the whole "DJ experience/image" a little bit, coming from the view of someone on the dance floor. And no, I'm not jealous I didn't get to go in the DJ booth. Okay.. maybe a little, lol. :haha: I also loved how he played Lift 2x that night; the song is still ringing in my ears! All in all, an excellent night and I cannot wait for Sean to come back and play a longer set next time!
PS: Anyone know the name of DJ Blurr's last song before he handed it off to Sean? That song was sick!

Sucks I had to miss this night. Actually thought I might have a chance to go but didn't get back home untilwell after 1am....so by the time I could have gotten changed and set to go and into the city it would have probably been 2:30am or after....so decided just to stay in.
Oh well.
Maybe next time.

Aww man, sounds like I missed a good party. I decided to go to Jeff Mills at the last minute instead of 1015. Just felt like listening to techno. Hope Sean comes back soon!

Highside107, the last 2 tracks I played were Static Blue - Fade Away (Icone Remix), and the final track I played before giving it over to Sean was Above and Beyond - Alone Tonight (Ronski Speed Remix)
Thanks for the comments everyone!

I'm so jealous of your town's luv for trance, I wish I had the same in new york.
Blurr and taj were sick! I loved every minute of my visit to sf.

Here's a little teaser video from Sean Tyas' opening track! Much more to come.
Also some stuff from Cosmic Gate from the night before.
enjoy!
I got some photos of you Blurr, so give me sometime to get them up for you.
Dj Blurr
Thanks skwallie!
After my set I waded through the crowd like I always do, and had people who had copies of the Flyer who asked me to sign them. That was cool, I’ve never had that happen to me before so it was pretty wicked. =)
Ya, if you guys have video of me, or photos up em here. Im lookin for anyone who shot a video of Sean coming on as he transitioned from Alone tonight to his first track. I beat mashed a bit. Sorry for those who were expecting me to jump around in the booth like I do. I hurt my knee earlier in the week again, so I was takin it easy.
I picked up 2 more bookings this weekend. Taj briefed me on one of them. = ) Once I get word that these are confirmed Ill let everyone know.
Thanks again to all for your love and support. You really have made me feel welcome, it’s a honor to play for all of you.
I didn't have a chance to try out my new camera (Fuji F30) that I just bought a few hours before the show because my old camera (Casio z750) stopped working on me at Sasha the night before. Luckily it started working again so I took both cameras. My old camera is horrible for low light conditions and the new camera doesn't do mpeg-4 video
