From Chuck Swirsky's blog
| quote: | Follow US college football... the Wolverines and Buckeyes are headed toward an epic showdown in three weeks... thinking about attending the game? Take out a mortgage. This courtesy of the Detroit News: You might need to take out a loan to attend what could be the biggest regular - season game in college football this year.
Ticket brokers are asking as much as $4,270 for a lower - level club seat on the 42-yard line at Ohio Stadium to attend the Nov. 18 grudge match between Michigan and Ohio State. Bargain hunters might be satisfied with shelling out $700 for an end - zone seat.
The face value of a ticket to the game is $59. Clearly, this is not your average regular-season finale between the bitter rivals. |
Ah, capitalism at its best |

Yep, gotta love U of M football - it's a fackin' religion to all the U of M devotees. My former roomie was an alum and would sell those $59 tickets for hundreds of dollars to folks who wanted them bad enough.
But still dosen't top watching Keith Richards try to snort a beer bottle at 10am on the Pawn Shop terrace. :p |
