My site and a not so short good bye to TA.

As I am sure a majority of you know (drama flies through TA like wildfire). I have been having a really hard time. So to vent my frustrations and sadness I have started really working on my site rather than browsing forums. Which for the most part haven't done any good in my life other than distract me from what I really want to do or from being productive in anyway. It some cases it just made me want to buy new gear for my studio, which I'm sure my fellow musicians of TA can relate, we like to call it G.A.S. or Gear Acquisition Syndrome. And for the most part buying more software/hardware will not lead to you becoming a better musician. It will distract you from what you really want in life. It is better to master a few things than to have an over abundance of things and never really know anything personally. This is even more of a problem when you truly can't afford these things like myself, so you use credit cards and become in debt. Now I'm not really in that much debt but that is because I have caught myself before it has gotten out of control.
In any case as I said since I’m rather lonely and depressed, it has lead me to really reassess my life and what I need to change, to achieve some of the things I want in life. And designing a CSS layout and graphics for a website is one of those things I want to do. I am quite knowledgeable when it comes to web development and graphics; I just have never really done anything with it. So now is as good a time as any.
In fewer words for those of you that like to skip long drawn out post, this is my retreat from TA, my good bye, and my farewell. If anyone would like to reach me you can PM for my aol/phone/email etc. But I'm sure those of you that care to know me already do and will continue doing so.

PS: I have never proclaimed to be the most eloquent or proper writer but maybe in doing this my writing skills will grow as well. Also I have a bookmark to the events page I don't plan to give going out up just yet. So you guys will see me out and about for a bit longer.

fr0st, we have never really talked much, but always held you to good regards when it came to you taste in music, production knowledge, and willingness to help other aspiring producers. I wish you well. I hope that perhaps we can shoot the about production and what not in the futre. I will definately keep an eye out for your site.

Ive got ur aim sn, although I havent messaged you in a bit :p I see where you are coming from tho. I also have a forum addiction. Currently on my 9th message board and still manage to juggle somehow.
A break to do other activities is good even if its permanent to focus on more important things. Take care and keep in touch :D |
