try surething cd labeller (there's a free demo)... i think it comes with a ton of layouts:

Also there was a utility recently released to adjust the contrast of your lightscribe labels:

And you can find a lot of CD/DVD labels here:

I don't have a drive myself, but I've marginally taken a look into Lightscribe. I think it'd be a really nice way to label CDs. =)

that's what i use em for. i needed a new dvd/cd burner and the lightscribe burners can be had for $30-$35 these days, so I said what the hell

I wanted a professional looking cd to hand out as demos when I go to clubs. Using sharpie marker is so...not good.

I got myself some printable cd's. Printer should arrive in a week or two.

This is one of my designs:

maybe i should look into buying one of these light scribe drives. too bad plextor doesn't make drives with light scribe as i was going to buy a plextor drive next. it's always such a hassle finding out what drive is actually good, but plextor is always good, so it's pretty safe to buy a plextor drive always.

oh well. i definitely gotta look more into this light scribe stuff as my printer can't print on cds and my handwriting sucks ass.

edit: the light scribe cdrs are about 4 times more expensive than normal ones. so i think i'll stick with my marker and ty handwriting. :o

Lol. (sorry)

I'm pretty sure the price will go down soon enough. It's always the same with new technology. But you're right. So far, they're wayyyy too expensive. But daaaamn they look good.
