Me too, my copy actually came to me by miracle. xD

Ordered Insigma-Open Our Eyes from BuyThatRecord, and this came along with it, without my knowledge. Not only did I get free , I got free awesome . :D

wow, that's a lottery win. Open Your Eyes is also one hell of a tune, just listened to it today (Surreal reminded me of it :) )

No coincidence, Free Radical=Richard Helstrip, and Insigma= Andy Perring and Steve Helstrip. ;)
Steve also=En-Motion and The Thrillseekers.

Needless to say they're both for the win.

This tune is full of win! :D

What a coincidence, i was thinking of starting a thread with "epic-trance that features dramatic and/or melancholic lead-lines" as the main subject, and this tune (together with Firewall's "Touched", Insigma's "Open Your Eyes" and Airwave's "Please Save Me") was on the top of my list. Free Radical - "Surreal" is a SUBLIME tune. Seriously, isn't this lead-line one of the most beautiful dramatic lead-lines ever!? (in trance-music).

Here it is, in all its intensity and glory:

Steve Helstrip was an excellent trance producer. Thrillseekers and Insigma were also great, and so was the excellent "Rapid Eye" alias with Tim Stark ("Circa-Forever", "Santa Cruz", "Stealing Beauty", "Absolut", "Alderaan" etc. all excellent)

I just like how that lead blends itself into two different rhythms...Excellent.

Yeah, there's something brilliant about it, it just sort of captures you, builds up... Really makes me think of the overused "fast food trance" cliche nowadays. Oh no, I'm becoming an EDM conservative!

nou

I also like how this song kinda psychs you out, making you think it's ending, and then hits you with aforementioned awesome melody.
