and that is exactly the reason why I hate when TiL books djs such as Sander and Carl Cox.... pure getting down and dirty house at a fancy shmancy stuck up venue.. anyone find the sense in that? I don't

Add me to that list + 5 !

Went to This is London for the first time on Friday for the Heaven and Hell party. Nice place, good times !

Yup... that's why Charles opened up this venue. Guv's for another demographic, and Ultra Supper Club for another.

I don't understand what other 'demographics' you're talking about, when I think Sander or Carl Cox I think dirty electro or techno house, people going crazy, sweating and who gives a flying crap.. When I think This is London I think "for an older... more mature crowd.." for socializing and for trying to prove that you are Someone.. and I don't see how those 2 go hand in hand?

I've never been to TiL, what should I know about this dress code?

It's pretty dressy (usually no runners, sweats), but if you have a pair of dressy jeans then you might get away with it.

But for special events like this, the club is pretty strict, so it's advisable to stick with a dressy shirt with dress pants or khakis. :)

:stongue: lol Nada, I should just run the entire club system in Toronto and decide who goes where no?

but seriously there's a time and place for everything, and TiL until 5a.m is not a time nor a place for Sander!! He's just my favourite and after seeing him at System, Guv, and Stereo, I don't know if I want to have a bad Sander experience at This is (not!!) London..

as for dresscode for guys, it doesn't have to be dressy you just need to look very clean, clean dressy shoes - not the heavy type, something light and comfortable that doesn't look like your regular running shoes.. nice clean jeans - many guys get away with ripped jeans they just have to look stylish rather than trashy, you could wear a plein shirt doesn't have to be a dressy shirt, but it's gotta look clean and not like a t-shirt you'd wear to a gym.. styling your hair a little bit won't hurt, it will just make you look "cleaner"...
