I'll be there in 2 years & I'm still the same as when I first went to Twilo in 99. Still feel the music the same way, still have no interest in settling down and being a sit-at-home guy, still fkg passionate about my EDM. always on top of the newest tunes, always with my tickets way in advance of the shows.
it's a part of my existence too, as someone else said, and I know I'm not about to change anytime soon..

It's all about how you feel, I would say--if you feel the music, nothing wrong without going to a club regardless of age. If you want to get married and have quiet dvd nights without all the lights and loud speakers pounding good EDM, you do that. I've met 18 year olds who have the state of mind of a 50 year old, and vice versa. It's all about what you feel inside, for yourself..whatever is your personal happiness :thepirate

I'm giving myself away here, but I gotta do it. Am I the only fool over 30 going out dancing anymore? I'd love to hear from the old folks...

I'm just a young pup at 28. I've been going to clubs since I was about 16 though. My brother (who's 36) first introduced me to a GU010 back in 1999. Him and I still go out together a fair amount and nothing has really changed at all.

I will say this though, nothing can bring me down more than when I'm out having a great time and suddenly my brother starts reminding me how much better Twilo, Vinyl, and Roxy were ;) -- It's just not fair! haha

When I used to party in DC there was this guy (I think his name was Adam) He's about 56 years olf now and has a wife and a daughter (his daughter actually used to be a go-go dancer at Twilo.) I saw him at every event I went to. Guy is the nicest person ever and does not drink/smoke/do drugs....is in great shape and just goes out to dance because house and trance are his fav kinds of music. I met his daughter once on her birthday at Glow one night and she was ing gorgeous....I tryed to get Adam to hook me up but shes already married lol. I love seeing the older folks out because I know that's gonna be me one day. ;)

Here is a picture of him and me at Sonar in Baltimore.

Met him at Ezoo last year

He was a beast

I've noticed that a lot of times if the DJ is older, the crowd is typically older.
If the the DJ is young, he/she typically draws a young crowd.'

This is how I decide on which clubs and parties to go to usually, not to mention most of my favorite artists are 30+.
