There is an interview on www.djtiesto.com and it comes from horse's mouth (so to speak) that it's a rumour about the tiesto mix being hated by Oakie.

Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Tiësto Remix), I've heard a rumour that Paul is not happy with the remix and has asked you to do it again. I am confused as to whether this is true or not seeing as it is such a good remix. Can you clear this up for us?
It's just a rumour, Paul likes the mix but I think when you produce a track you always like your own mix better then the other ones. Same for me, I like picotto's mix of lethal industry but still prefer my own because that's excactly the way i wanted the record to be.
We can all relax and there is no need to start pulling our hair out. thank god.

That's really good news.. but if the rumour is true, then I have lost absolutely all respect for Oakenfold.
And if he wanted ty remixes he could have asked me to make one. |
