I just installed my light scribe drive on my pc. Everything was working great for a couple of days, and now the computer wont reboot correctly if the light scribe drive is installed.

If I disconnect the light scribe drive from my computer...then the computer will restart and boot up properly.

What is going on here?

Shouldn't you be posting this in the tech forum or contact LS support?

Most likely your lightscribe is set to the same master/slave configuration as the other device connected to that controller.
Is it an ATA device or SATA??

If it's ATA:
I'm guessing ATA, and I'm also guessing your main boot drive is connected to the same IDE-cable (the big, flat, gray cable). On the back of the LS drive you should find some pins called jumper pins, and on the top of the drive should be a picture of how to "jumper" these pins. Try your best to find out how to set it to "Slave". If it's already set to that, set the thing to "Master"... (which device is master/slave usually doesn't matter, as long as they're not both set to the same thing, or else the computer can't tell them apart.)

If it's SATA:
Give us some more details, like, how many hard drives you got, how they're connected, what is your OS and so on...
