Hahaha, first of all --> This is an incredible simple melody to produce so why on hell use a preset-arpeggio?!?!?! That just pisses me off. Yes, they sound similar. Mainly because they both has the same synth-sound.

we made a banging club track (we think so tho) and added this breakdown (which i called cheesy and fluffy earlier on), we made it very simple, using an arp preset (actually its the first time i used any preset which i didnt even change after all). So it was just: hit some chords, arp it, and add it to the breakdown, and lets see. The mighty ducks track is a club track, its for the dancefloors, and its kinda gimmick like, this arp preset being one of the gimmicks. And it isnt inspired by anything, maybe just by what we would call 'standard trance'.
So its not about that we thought to have found a brilliant melody, cause we dont think it is. Like i said, its a gimmick, and therefor we think it works. Total contrast to the beats and the oldschool stabs. |

Maybe the problem is that Paul's track is unoriginal. He's basically saying a preset sounds the same as his melody here.

The original " mighty Ducks" track (or whatever is called) is 1000 times better then Boliers "another-extremely-boring-random-trance-by-numbers" track!!!I vote for the original!!!
P.S. There is a new version of Rave e-jay coming out kids(!!!), errmm sorry i mean "trance producers"... |

that was a choon, and even more so the ozgur can remix
The Original, Ozgur and Mesh remixes all made for a very solid release IMO |

and b wise don't try to ruin other ppl names i'm just saying it for ur own good cuz it will bite u in the ass sometime in the future...
anyway i don't think its a rip off like arksun said there are a lot of melos that sounds the same here and there and if ur a genius which made a hit and someone ripped it off just remember u got the talent to do it again ;) |
