Good to hear all the feedback and support about the
lack of water at Belo.
It seems like a silly issue to get pissed about, but
it really isn't. And it goes to the core of the
business and proper customer service at a nice nightclub
that charges $11 for drinks and $25 covers.
It was like the management was begging for a legal fight
and now they got one.
Right now the rules at Belo are a mess and nobody
seems to know what's going on. So if you attend a
night at Belo don't expect much from the staff or
the management.
Maybe there motto can be:
"International Superstar DJ's? YES.
Free Tap Water? Hell to the NO."
In the meantime I will contact the ABC and the BBB
regarding Belo's policies and see where it all goes. |

I sent them an e-mail, it's the least i could do.
"It is unfortunate that a place like Belo, which can have such great potential in the EDM scene, runs the business poorly.... Since when does requesting water become an issue that needs to be taken to the manager? and then get told to myself?.... places that don't accommodate fans of the talent decently.... I'm not sure what the problem with management is, but i do want to inform you that formal complaints will be made to the Alcohol Beverage Control of California .....the law is there for a reason.... concerns will be forwarded to Giant....Upset patron "

I constantly tell people at clubs that its state law to provide free tap water. The bartenders at Belo were just pissed because they wanted you to buy a $6 bottle of water. |

If you are going to bitch about the water dont exagerate the price of the water. It was $4 not $6 which in itself is rediculous I know.
I too had same problem. Was told they didnt even have tap water and that's all they had. :P |

nchos09: water DOES help you sober up faster because there is WATER that is NECESSARY for REHYDRATION AND SOBERING UP. if you ever took biology in HS then this was a basic endocrine system (waste system) study.
and the water this is ed up. i cant believe they did that. they also dont allow you to bring water OUT! its rediculous. the staff there overall are ok but at times are over bearing. |
