What annoys me so much: mixed tracks on Audiogalaxy (pg. 2)

i hear ya man, i'm um...what do you call it...kinda ANAL about my mp3s. I MUST have a certain syntax for all my mp3z like:
Tupac - All Eyez on Me - 01 - track name
so it really pisses me off just for having id3 tags. because i just remove them all and have winamp read off the file name itself. this may sound quite unnessesary, but when you ahve 400+ albums it gets kinda hairy, especially when you got 21 albums of one artist or something.
But what pisses me off the most is when a live set has an id3 v. 2 tag, because when you remove it it ing takes for ever (since the file is so long).
why can't everybody be as organized as me :stongue: |

i put tracklists into id3v2 tags... such a good idea!!! although it rewrites the whole mp3 to the hard drive, i can bare with that.
i'm anal not only about filenames and id3 tags, but also if the songs have crackle or other in them. if i can't fix it with cooledit, i have to redownload it on my 56k and that pisses me off, caz i wanna enjoy the full version of that track RIGHT NOW
oh yeah, doesn't it piss you off when you queue the original track and a remix and when you download them, they appear to be the same mix? and goddamn it i hate when people don't use full rips!!!! |

| a little offtopic, but still about audiogalaxy, i was wondering if everyone can only download one song with audiogalaxy at a time, and at max 13k, because thats whats happening to me. i love how AG has such a big selection of songs, but its torture trying to download full sets at 13k. anyone know if i'm doing something wrong or have to tweak a setting? |

Cool that is such a flippin good idea, here i think I might start doing that to, it would make life a lot easier if the tracklist was already on a Liveset when u downloaded it:D

I think that to be able to download more than one file at a time from Audiogalaxy, U have to be sharing like at least 20, or 25. Not sure if that would have anything to do with the speed, could jus be u were gettin the song from some1 slow (13K, compared to my max. 3.6K isnt bad anyway:( ) |

a bit offtopic too, but has anyone tried registering with ag lately?
what a pain in the ass!
first it tells you your username is taken, but that's normal. then it says your password is too short - need 8 characters (on my 2 previous usernames they are 5 letters with no numbers). fine, but then it tells you you need digits in the password... ok... afterwards, it tells you like 10 times that your password is too easy to guess. WTF??? how is "xoposho37" easy to guess??? |

oh hell yes, even one crackle means that i'm getting another version of that song. Its just so damn annoying to be blasting a great song and have a ing pop ruin the mood (especially if one is under the influence, i swear i've lost years off my life due to crackle related stress) |

| heh i hope you don't mean the crackle that you hear from vinyls because it could be pretty hard to find a vinyl rip that don't have those static like sounds. |

| But in spite of this I prefer vinyl rips to cd rips. They sound better to me. |

no, i'm talking about blips and cracks, When the person ripping the mp3 s it up, usually by doing to many things and taking up resources. |
