| t happens to me sometimes where i don't remember when i went to sleep or remember the end of the night. i remember a few times i woke up and looked around the room and was like "wtf"? but the problem is that i gulp alcohol and i don't pace myself. it's not good for my liver and brain so i'm going to chill out with that. |

| I always remember the last evening, max. 16 beers + 4 bottles of wine. No prob with that :) I was a little fuzzy when I took some shr00ms though. |

| Not only did I black out this weekend but I blacked out with a drink in my hand. Said drink of Hawaiian punch and vodka proceeded to make its way onto my shirt come morning. Of course I remember none of this but the red stains on my shirt and on the couch around my ass paints a compelling picture. A dumbass is me (lessons learned: use sprite next time because it's easier to clean). |

thank god my dad is visiting me this weekend for my birthday. i need some down time.
although, my dad has been known to drag me out for a few beers before. haha |

That isn't all that uncommon though. I know someone who works in jails and prisons and there are people in jail for murder who don't even know if they actually did it because they were in a blackout at the time. I know people who have driven from maryland to north carolina in a blackout. It can be quite a scary thing. |

stick with one kind of booze.
for example, if you're gonna drink beer, just drink beer. if you're gonna drink vodka, just drink good (not cheap - cheap booze will give you worse hangovers) vodka. find your favorite drinks and stick with those so that you know how much to drink. i find that the more varieties of booze you have over the course of a night, the more beligerent and wasted you tend to get (not you, Jamie... just generally speaking), and the worse your hangover will be the next day.
you're a tiny girl like me so i know it can't take you too much booze to get wasted! just learn to pace yourself and not to go overboard. i know it's much easier said than done, but if you just force yourself to drink slower you'll be able to stay in control better.
oh... and don't drink whiskey. that almost always leads to blacking out for me! :wtf: |
