Logic? Surely it'll do, but at $999 way to expensive for such a small task don't you think?
Anyway, to the topicstarter: have a look at Audacity.
It's a free audio-editor that will be more than enough for such a task.

| I used to use Goldwave as it makes this process handy. However recently, I've found that Soundforge does it the best and in a much quicker fashion. Basically load your mix into Soundforge, insert markers where you want breaks by pressing "M", then once all your breaks are in, from the menu choose convert markers to regions. Now choose extract regions and there you go. :) |

i would recommend cool mp3 splitter. i have no problems using that program and its simple to split up your music.

| i used to have a program that could split files really quick and also split from a cuesheet... i'll see if i can dig it up :P |
