You know, you could keep crying. Most of us don't have Dads that buy us expensive professional hardware synthesizers.
Don't take it personally. But be greatfull for the frustrations you're going through. You're very blessed, lol.
Hope you have better luck with your TI. Personally I'll save my money for a NL3. |

Hi Do you have a virus DJ Freq?
I have the nord lead 3 and a virus ti, and I can tell you that nord lead 3 is nice, but nothing touches virus ti in terms of versatility and power, when comes to va synths. Some people migh argue that it's buggy as hell. Well after last update, I have not had one problem, It just works. I came to a conclusion that if I had to keep one synths out of what i got, it would be Virus Ti. For somebody that is starting out some people say virus is too much, but I belive that it's better to have it than using some other synths that's lacking in some department. Virus ti is like having most of the other VA synths in one box. |

I thought my previous message implied very well that I don't have a virus ti.
They sure look snazzy though. All sparkly.
At least now if I want to purchase one they have worked out all the bugs. Glad to hear that. |

But yea. The Nord Lead 3 is pretty ing god damned awesome. We have a rack module at school along with the new Novation midi controllers. Needless to say. I'll grab a NL3 before I think about buying a used TI years from now.

Well, first off im not crying about it not working. Im more pissed off that the wood is broken than anything but your gonna tell me to be grateful that my dad just shelled out $2500 finally for something that is broken? I dont think so. So why dont you just get out my thread and go crap in someone elses thread and let the people who actually have useful advice post in here. Have fun with your nord as I can really care less what you get or what you think is better.
Now that thats done with. How do you reload the OS back to the original one or a previous one? I think i'll try that tonight while waiting for the replacement tom. |

Im not crapping on you. If I wanted to do that. I'd be a jerk. I'm just reminding you of how much of a lucky duck you are! A broken TI is more of a TI than I have. Remember that.

I know I am lucky enough to finally have one. This has been 2+ years in the making of waiting for one. I been saving money for a while but was still a good ways out and my dad said go ahead and get it and to keep my money. He's played music for 30+ years so its not like he just gave me money to go waste on something he has no idea about. But a broken TI is useless especially when something cost that much, you expect to get something that works.
Oh and I sure will have fun with this broken TI at least for one more night or who knows. Maby the next one will be broken also and i'll have to wait even longer. All I know is one will work one day and it will be the greatest day ever.
Now back to the topic. |

Where do you set local controll on? I must have something wrong b/c I just saw where you can do the demo song and tried it out and it plays fine so I must have something thats not turned on. |

Look in your manual. And true TI is really good for psy actually theres alot of psy presets. and I would take the TI saw over ABL or any others any day.. I have to say though the TI square wave is quite weak raw! I think I'd rather use TI's FX on ABL's square.
but come on.. Infekted Mushroom do everything with their Nord Lead thats how you know its the king of psy.. |

| Ok, I got my new TI in today and the same is going on. No sound at all. Im looking in the manual and it says to go into the config menu into the keyboard section. But I have went through every single menu and there is NO keyboard section. What is up with that??? Is there a special way to get to that section or something? Its saying in the book to turn "local" on but there is no keyboard section. I ran the updater and everything is updated to the latest OS. |
