What does everyone use to split up live sets so that you can burn them to cds? (pg. 2)

Before I started using cuesheets I had put set on WAV and cut it using sequencer software, like Acid. Now I use cdrwin and mp3splitter, but it sometimes goes wrong, for eg. I couldn't split PVD Rosenmontags set using hh:mm:ss, only the 2nd option - by seconds. I don't know how is that possible - it should work!

Fireburner with cue files. Simple, or nero :)

i am so confused on how to work with mp3 splitter. i have no idea where to start...

like flystyler said, just use Nero and you won't need any splitting software (you can split it onto multiple cd's, or even split a full set into multiple tracks)

I've only just got Nero and I'm having problems finding the option that'll enable me to split up mp3s. Can anyone explain how you go about it with Nero?
izzywillynilly
My memory is a bit hazy, but i believe that if you right click on the song, then click properties it will bring you up a menu which has a tap called Splitting or something to that extent. then you just select what part on the area you want to split (or specify a time) and click split.

cuesheets use minutes:seconds:frames
unfortunately, the frames don't seem to be the same as what sound forge uses :-(.

I still can't work out how to divide mp3s using Nero, can anyone help me a bit more?
vmc
Dividing tracks using nero is a bull - it 'works', but I have never managed to burn a cd with it. It always crashes during burning - usually in the beginning.
