| What a coincidence, because just the other day I dumped my white girlfriend to go out with a black girl because she had a very large vagina cavity. My white girlfriend got so pissed off with me that she also joined the KKK! Maybe your friend & my Ex can hook up & be racist together? |

yea that's not true. when i was living in japan during high school, all of my friends were of mixed cultures...crazy mixed cultures too. like black and philipino, spanish & japanese, black & japanese...it was cool. my high school sweetheart was half white, half philipino and my best friend was black.
but then i came back to south florida, where (i'm sorry to say this, but it's true), a majority (not ALL) of the african-american/carribbean-american culture are ing twats who don't speak english and aren't very fond of white people themselves, i started to be a little more judgemental. and i'm basing this on personal experiences in my daily life down here, not by just looking at people or seeing them dressed a certain way. i'm talking about how i've been treated. i know it's bad, and i honestly try to rise above it, but i can't help to stereotype when i see some idiot with gold teeth and his pants hanging off his ass and roll my eyes. i think it was mainly due to me being harrassed a lot my senior year of high school by ghetto black girls just because they thought they could intimidate me.
i'm getting better about it though and it's not really about skin color...aka "race"....it's more about a cultural attitude that annoys me, and i always give someone the benefit of the doubt before deciding whether or not i like them as an individual. |
My wife says exactly the same thing, her father was in the Navy so she spent a fair bit of her upbringing in Europe. She returned to the US when she was about 14 and says describes the same thing.
Personally I'm a Brit, have been living in the US for a year but spent a lot of time over here since I was about seven. I'm surprised at how segregated the 'black' community are compared to the situation in the UK. It seems as if they wish to distance themselves in the US, whereas in the UK they seem more integrated. The whole 'ebonics' thing was fairly new to me.....white guuurrrllll |

I think its because the minorities (not all, but alot) dont know how to take care of the neighborhoods that they live in. They are like a virus, they spread and settle in an area and slowly drive out the other people living there (who themselves could have been minorities, but are unwilling to live there anymore).
For example, in the 60's and 70's, Long Beach, California was a very wealthy and thriving community, look at it now. |

that's one of the most non-chelan racist comments i've ever heard.
i'm in a course this semester called "psychology of racism" and all we do is discuss race and issues of race both current and before emancipation. the "ghetto" neighborhoods are that way because african americans want to hold on to some of their culture, and the only clture they know is that which they experienced during the times of slavery. why would they want to give in to the white man's society and lose their historical background? i don't think there are any "africans" left in America today (except current immigrants from africa), because they've lived in a poorer subculture since they first came to America.
sad truths, but i blame the white man.... |
