| Ofcourse, but come with some better arguments. Cause the "u need to hear it on a big club system (and if u havent just shut up)" is getting abit overused and not to mention totally irrelevant. |

exactly what i was thinking. a good track will sound awesome on a small and large sound system.
i might be wrong, but are the vocals out of key as well? i know ableton would generally fix that kind stuff though. |

The wording "you have to hear it on a proper sound system" is a bit controversial. I mean, yes most tracks sound better when played out loud on a good system, but you can also make a good track sound like on a proper sound system
I would say it mostly depends on when a DJ plays a track. Given the right position in the mix, even a ty track can sound very good. Easy example: If you have a DJ that plays 6 Cascada Track in a row, then DJ Sammy - Heaven as Track #7 sounds like the ultimate revelation
As for the mashup: I do like it, I even already miss the vocals when i hear Sedna in its original version lol |

Beats the "Do you produce? If not then STFU" argument. ;) |

| I think the "club system" argument holds reasonable weight. Some tracks are specifically made to be played very loud on very good systems, and something is always lost when you downgrade to the living room. Granted, it means the track in question is pretty limited musically, being ultimately nothing more than "club banger", but if it sounds better it sounds better. And the club is the intended context, is it not? |

thats a pretty good argument, but when you take into account that this is a mashup, you have to realise that Sedna in its original form sounded awesome no matter the size of the system. therefore cant you say that the vocals have caused it to limit its playability? |

| I'm not arguing a specific case, I'm just defending the argument as a principle. I've no doubt that this particular track is on any system- Dave Dresden was the creator, for God's sake. |
