Go on youtube and find Even Stephvens, that's where Colbert shines

better yet, it's always been my opinion that Colberts funniest is/was on Harvery Birdman (well as a voice of a cartoon anyways)

first off, it's Jon.

Second, Stewart. Some of the jokes he made on the Daily Show are ing legendary. The Colbert Report's jokes are a little too similar to one another, but they're still funny.

And Colbert came from The Daily show, so it's only natural that The Daily Show > Colbert Report. And so it was written, and so it shall be.

colbert was hilarious on the daily show...but i think hes better on his show...its funny when he cant hold in laughs and has funny skits...especially the contest on where he has a lightsabre and is rolling on the ground and stuff....:haha:

I love both and watch them religiously. Colbert plays the conservative angle but in the process makes them look so foolish. It's very difficult to look genuinely conservative, then all the sudden pop out the ludicris angle, but he does it well. I remember when his show was new, and I knew a lot of people who didn't know what to make of his show simply because he was too effective at looking like a conservative.

Stewart's humour writes itself. He'll point out the flaws and stupidity of people in power with counter points taken from very common sense places that virtually all can relate to and make his subject look absolutely foolish doing it.

Stewart for me gets better guests, at least the guests that fit the show [authors, journalists, politicians], and is a better interviewer. But Colbert's 'the word' is the best segment of all late night comedy, easily. That thing has made me my pants more times than I can count.

Watch both all the time. Probably the only two tv shows that I watch frequently as of late.

Lately Colbert has taken it up like eight notches and is starting to get on my nerves.

TO guy
Daily show takes it hands down. Though I have to say, that last night on Colbert, with the 25 year old congressional candidate was hilarious ... and the OSU clubs.

... Colbert is funny as hell. But I still go wtih Stewart.

+1 IMO he was way funnier when he was on the daily show...lately he just rubs me the wrong way n seems to be so full of himself
