Amazing live act. Easily one of the best I've seen- lot's of talent right here.:D |
He came to New York a week early for his gig here last Thursday @ Cielo because I heard it was his first time here. The guys throwing the party he was playing, the Robots (Dennis Rogers, Bill Patrick), took him out to Magda the night he got into town at this small venue and a ton of people from this other board I'm on got to meet and hang out with him. I just didn't know what he looked like. When he played here, he was all through the venue before his set, hanging out with everyone there. My girlfriend talked to him and said he seemed like a cool guy for the few minutes they chatted.
Review of that party is here - http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...hreadid=378319, some more at the end of this thread http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...threadid=377768 |

I expected more from his The Last Resort album, but I suppose I just have to give it a few more listens...
He's a great artist nonetheless, Rykketid being my favorite track. :) |

For production or performance?
I'm very unfamiliar with acid or Trentemoller's live shows... |

Djuma Sounsystem - Les Djinns (Trentemoller Remix)
Trentemoller - Miss You
Those are the only two tracks that really grabbed me. I need to check out his DJ skills and hear that Essential Mix that everyone is raving about. |

One of my favourite tracks ever is from him (in terms of fav. tracks i wanne hear on a dancefloor): Polar Shift. ing huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge on a dancefloor. The way it suddenly explodes in the break is just ing brilliant.
Gotta add that i wish he made more tracks like Latenight Cab Driving. There he shows he can do other styles as brilliant as he does tech house :) |
