So tonight I have to go to another dreaded work function...
To farewell someone who's leaving...
Fair enough. Whatever.
But the people I work w/ are bringing their significant others... \
And I don't remember their names.
"Hey Vesh!"
"Hey... you!"
Terrible.
Note, I can't even remember one of the girls names I work with.

It's really bad, I'm writing all of their names down so I can revise them before I go...
And it's worrying because I'm missing so many names!!!

Like, there's only 4 people I work w/... we all have to talk to each other...
I'll die if someone says:
"You don't remember my name do you?"

| Hang on...Is it your co-worker's names you can't remember, or their partners? Cause if you can't remember 4 people's names and work with them all the time...That's really bad. |

Ok.
Go through the letters of the alphabet and see if one letter brings a name to mind for your co-worker. That's gonna be the biggest problem, so tackle that first.
Don't worry about the partners, just make a point of telling them you don't remember. Self depreciating phrases such as "God, I'm lucky to remember my own name sometimes" always go down a treat.
And don't get too drunk lol :haha: |

Yeah, I'd usually get tipsy...
I become more sociable when I'm tipsy... and much more cool... I ignore people when they make stir like that, and pull out witty comments...
HOWEVER! I'm driving (on probationary) meaning I can't have a drop of liquor inside of me... and I hate people who drink and drive and cause accidents... REALLY hate them... so for me to do something like that would be hypocritical to my ideals, but moreso, just in' idiotic!
Please, names, come to me!
